1. ACCEPTANCE

By registering for or using Trail Jam ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a member of Trail Jam. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where this condition is not met.

3. MEMBERSHIP & SUBSCRIPTION

Trail Jam offers a 6-month free trial period followed by a recurring subscription of £3.99 per month. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use Trail Jam to post unlawful, offensive, or misleading content. You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity. Trail Jam reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without notice.

5. USER CONTENT

You retain ownership of any content you submit, including your avatar photo, trail name, and location data. By submitting content, you grant Trail Jam a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Trail Jam integrates with third-party services including Spotify, Strava, Runna, WhatsApp, and Stripe. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Trail Jam is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

7. LOCATION DATA

Your home pin location is voluntarily provided and displayed publicly on the Trail Jam map. You may update or remove your location at any time via your profile. When using the GO LIVE feature, you may optionally share a live location via your device's GPS, which temporarily overrides your home pin while your session is active. This is entirely voluntary. Trail Jam does not passively track your location at any time.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Trail Jam is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trail Jam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
